ARMIN VAN BUUREN (Voted world’s No 1 DJ) Armin Van Buuren has been named number one in the prestigious DJ Top 100 poll – voted for by over 350,000 people across the world, and an indication of his prolific output over the 10 years he’s been DJing and producing. Being the official World’s Best DJ is just one of his many achievements, the driving force behind his success is an overriding passion for dance music. Armin’s own productions have all made a huge impact with his last 12 singles hitting the Top 40 in Holland , and gaining worldwide acclaim. His back catalogue includes Blue Fear, Communication, Sound of Goodbye, Shivers, Rush Hour, Exhale, This World Is Watching Me, and Yet Another Day just to name a few. www.arminvanbuuren.com

FERRY CORSTEN The Dutch superstar has consistently been voted one of the top 10 DJs in the world He’s played for hundreds of thousands of fans all over the world and he won “Best Trance DJ” prize at the annual DJ Awards ceremony this year in Ibiza. It’s all in a year’s work for the man who’s been called the “architect, pioneer, and instigator” of trance music’s global dominance. But within the close-knit international DJ community, Corsten’s regarded as something else too: A studio auteur with a fierce sense of sonic rightness; a real-deal producer who works solo, sans engineer, and creates the most complete, energetic, melodic records in dance music. www.ferrycorsten.com

ERIC PRYDZ (Pryda, Cirez D) Swedish DJ and producer Eric Prydz releases singles and EPs under a variety of project names, including Pryda, Cirez D, Sheridan, Dirty Funker, Moo, A and P Project, Axer, Hardform, Dukes of Sluca, and Groove System. Eric Prydz is a musical genius, the musical icon of generation Y. His DJ sets are as famous as his productions, having smashed every festival in Europe and North America. Its our turn next for the very first time in Australia. www.ericprydz.com

CALVIN HARRIS DJ Set Calvin ‘I-created-disco’ Harris. As we all know this wonder kid from the streets of Dumfries, Scotland is making quite the mark in the music biz. From one phenomenal track to the other… a mish mash of electro, disco (duh), Indie, and punk, mixing and re-mixing, throwing in collaborations and invites from Kylie… to his latest track with Dizzee Rascal hanging in top spot on the charts in the UK for weeks… what’s not to like? www.calvinharris.tv

DIGITALISM Live Digitalism are without a doubt one of the world’s hottest electro acts and when they dropped their highly anticipated album Idealism early last year it had everyone jumping up and down like…well…pogo sticks. Producing their instantly recognizable version of rock slash electro and signed to uber-chic French label Kitsune, there’s definitely something in the air when Jence and Isi hit the stage and rock out their incredible live show.

ADAM FREELAND Infamous for Now and Them and wanting your soul back in the early 00’s, Adam Freeland has proved himself to be quite the chameleon in recent years. Once the pioneer of nu-skool breaks, this Grammy Award winner has found a new calling in the European maximal electro movement. Citing Justice, Soulwax and The Glimmers as his current favourite producers, Mr. Freeland has teamed up with oh-so-hot-right-now producer Alex Metric and The Fury on his forthcoming How to Fake Your Own Life album, with the first single set for release in December – we are counting the days!

DAVID MORALES From Brooklyn with love… David Morales is one of the most sought after DJ’s in the world and one of the first to be known as a ‘superstar DJ’. Around since the 90’s, Morales partnered famed House music pioneer Frankie Knuckles, and together they honed the formula for what would become the Def Classic Mix.

CICADA Live Cicada are often cited in the same breath as Tiga, New Order, Blondie & Daft Punk. They have been working tracks across the board that club kids, and rock kids ‘get’. With their retro-electro sound they have been re-mixing beats from Depeche Mode, New Order, The Editors, 13 Senses and more. And with their slew of singles such as Electric Blue, It’s all About You, and their new album due out in October, it’s no wonder how they earned their Global fan base.

BOYS NOIZE After wowing is us with his headphone-wearing ways at Harbourlife, Boys Noize aka Kid Alex aka one-half of Puzique with D.I.M, has shot into the stratosphere since the 2007 release of Oi Oi Oi. Couple this with a body of remixes that reads longer than a Bill of Rights and it’s no wonder we’re super-excited to have Germany’s answer to Ed Banger back in Oz! Now a festival favourite across the globe, Boys Noize is set to weave a path of electronic destruction across Europe and North America with A-Trak on the Attack of the Uni-Bros Tour in the coming months… We can’t wait to Dance Dance Dance again.www.boysnoize.com

SWITCH Famed father of fidget and head-honcho of Dubsided, Switch, the man with more pseudonyms than days of the week, hardly needs an introduction. The genius behind all-time classics A Bit Patchy and Get Ya Dub On, Switch divides his time between production-work for the likes of M.I.A, Santogold and Missy Elliot and remixing the likes of well, every Artist residing in the Northern Hemisphere including Klaxons, The Chemical Brothers, Mika, Nine Inch Nails and P.Diddy. In his spare time he likes to teach Herve and Duke Dumont about the meaning of life. .www.myspace.com/switchandsolidgroove

STEVE AOKI Steve Aoki. The man behind Dim Mak Records who founded artists from Bloc Party, The Kills, The Gossip, Klaxons and many more also is the same man behind the production moniker Weird Science that has remixed Peaches, Snoop Dogg and Bloc Party. Under his own name, Aoki has remixed Duran Duran and Timbaland as well as produced original work with internationally renowned producer, Junkie XL. www.steveaoki.com

BUSY P With a following that rivals any rock star, the iconic Busy P may be considered the modern Messiah of electronic dance-music, and not just because he looks a lot like Jesus. With his fingers firmly in the Ed Banger and Justice pies, this cooler-than-cool Frenchman still finds time to drop some pretty fly tracks, with his recent collaboration with Murs on To Protect and Entertain, a sure-fire Summer hit and the perfect followup to his must have 2007 EP, Rainbow Man.

DJ MEHDI Another notch in the Ed Banger Records’ belt, DJ Mehdi fits in the team like a match made in heaven. Mehdi certainly hasn’t let the grass grow under his feet, releasing two albums and remixing for our homebody Sam Sparro, as well as David Rubato, Busy P, Ghostface Killah and Steel Lord. Another favourite from Paris, Mehdi is mixing hip hop and electro; and is definitely more than just somebody.

FORT KNOX FIVE Fort Knox Five- all the way from the U.S.A, are true to their roots. Producing a truly Funk, Break-beat, Brazilian and totally instrumental sound, their “…Funk for peace”… motto has seen them re-mix the likes of Bob Marley and The Wailers and add their stamp to the beats of A-Skillz, Krafty Kuts and Kraak and Smaak. Having also played tour DJ for Gwen Steffani and her Harajuku Lovers posse, FK5 have just announced that their debut album, "Radio Free DC", will be released in October! WOO-HOO!
