Past Event: Shore Thing NYE 08

Tickets to this event have sold out. There will be no door sales so if you don’t have a ticket please choose another venue for your celebration. Police will strictly enforce Alcohol Free zones in nearby parks and streets.

Event Transport for ticket holders:
Bus transport will be provided to Bondi Beach from Bondi Junction Bus Rail Interchange from 6pm until 3:45am

Buses will take ticket holders back to Bondi Junction from 12:30pm - 3:30pm

There are road closures and clearways enforced all around the Bondi area on NYE. Don’t bring your car.

Road Closures:
6pm, 31 December to 6am 1 January
Campbell Parade: between Lamrock Ave and Beach Rd
Park Drive: entire length
Queen Elizabeth Drive: at Campbell parade (whole length, northbound)


Clearways:
2pm, 31 December to 6am 1 January
Bondi Road: between Campbell Parade and Syd Einfield Drive (South Side)
Campbell Parade: between Beach Road and Sir Thomas Mitchell Road (both sides)
Campbell Parade: between Beach Road and Hastings Parade (east side)
Gould St: between Curlewis Street and Hall Street
Park Drive: whole length (parking section)
Queen Elizabeth Drive: whole length (parking section)

EFTPOS:
You will be able to take cash out from the clock room, please refer to the map for location.

RECYCLING
Every time you buy a drink in a can or PET container you will pay a $1 deposit. Return the empty container to the event recycling station for a $1 ticket that you can use towards your next drink. Help the environment and keep the party looking clean by recycling all your cans and PET containers. Please note that you can only use three tokens at a time towards any alcoholic drink (excluding light beer).

The Recycling Station closes at 2:30am


And don’t forget to put your non recyclable rubbish in the bins provided!

Parking
There will be no parking available for this event, all nearby roads will be
closed to traffic from 3pm on NYE.

Passouts
There will be no passouts for this event. Please remember to bring
everything you need with you.

Music Volume
Music Volume at ALL outdoor events is subject to strict EPA rules and
may vary depending on time of day, weather conditions and many
other factors.

Earplugs
Sound at this event may reach levels that can damage your hearing.
Free earplugs will be available from the First Aid Tent.
