Notice to Residents

Please note a section of Botanic Park will be fenced off from Wednesday 30th September until Wednesday 7th October 2009.

Sound system checks will occur on:
Sunday, 04 October from 3pm to 5pm
Monday, 05 October from 10am to 11am

The event will run from midday until 10pm on Monday 5th October 2009.

Sound levels will be closely monitored throughout the event.

A comprehensive traffic management plan has been developed in consultation with Botanic Park and SA Police to facilitate access to the performance and to ensure the safety of pedestrian, motorists and patrons. Hackney Road speed limit will be reduced from 8am to 40km per hour. There will be some parking restrictions, followed by a temporary road closure on Plane Tree Drive at 9pm for approximately 2 hours. A security management plan has been developed in consultation with Botanic Park and major stakeholders. South Australia Police will also be present for the duration of the event. Fuzzy encourage all patrons attending to take public transport or ride a bike to Parklife.
