DJ and producer Erol Alkan presents the first edition of his 6 Mix residency. A review of his first 6 Mix by BBC Radio, claims that “He plays an eclectic selection of electronically influenced music, from future disco to psychedelia, alongside hot new reworkings direct from his studio in North London”.

Did you know that Little Boots (Victoria Hesketh) derived her name from the 1979 film Caligula?
Caligula (real name, Gaius Julius Caesar Augustus Germanicus ) was a roman emperor who was given the nickname Caligula (meaning little boot in Latin) by his father when hunting one day.
The life of Caligula was made into a movie in 1979 and starred such people as Helen Mirren. The movie was a complete flop with reviewers claiming “There would never be a worse movie made”. -

Despite Field Day getting 100% booking confirmation in writing, approval of billing, artwork and playing time from Roger Sanchez’s agent way back in September (before we began advertising), his agent has informed us that Roger is also booked to play New Year’s Eve in Germany and cannot come to Australia.
