What to bring (and leave at home)

To help you prepare for the day ahead, here’s a list of items that you should leave at home (seriously please don’t bring these because they will be confiscated!):

Also, don’t forget the festival dos and don’ts:

DO

Bring your ticket and valid photo ID.

Use public transport.

Bring sun/rain protection – we party rain, hail or shine.

Use the rubbish and recycling facilities available – our venues are beautiful and we’d like to keep it that way!

Look after your mates, party safe and have a great day!

DON’T

Bring anything on the prohibited items list – including alcohol, drugs, weapons or audio/video recording equipment.

Bring a bad attitude – our events are about having fun!

VALID FORMS OF IDENTIFICATION

QLD: 

  • a photo identification card (for example, a Proof of Age card or Australia Post Keypass identity card)
  • Australian driver licence or learner permiT
  • Foreign driver licence
  • Passport (from any country)
  • The ID document must be current and include a photo of the person and their date of birth.

NSW: 

  • a driver or rider licence or permit issued by an Australian State or Territory or any foreign country
  • a NSW Digital Driver Licence
  • Australian or other passport
  • NSW photo card
  • proof of age card issued by a public authority of the Commonwealth or of another State or Territory for the purpose of attesting to a person’s identity and age
  • Keypass (over-18) identity card issued by Australia Post.

SA:

  • a photo identification card (for example, a Proof of Age card or Australia Post Keypass identity card)
  • Australian driver licence or learner permit
  • Foreign driver licence
  • Passport (from any country)
  • The ID document must be current and include a photo of the person and their date of birth.

VIC:

  • proof of age card or a card issued in another State or a Territory that is the equivalent of a proof of age card; or
  • a driver licence or a licence issued in another State or a Territory that is the equivalent of a driver licence; or
  • an Australian or foreign passport; or
  • a document issued by a person or on behalf of a government department or agency approved by the Minister that bears a photograph of the person to whom it is issued and enables that person’s age to be determined.

WA:

  • current Australian Driver’s Licence with photograph
  • current passport
  • current Western Australian Proof of age card
